"Assarel-Medet" JSC was the initiator for the creation of the joint company with Bulgarian and foreign participation Dyno NitroMed JSC - Today ORICA Med - Bulgaria. In 1997 the Minister of Industry at that time, Alexandar Boshkov, officially inaugurated the first Bulgarian-Norwegian-Swedish company in the country.
Today, it is a high technology joint-venture company between Assarel-Medet JSC which possesses 40% of the capital and the ORICA International Concern. Waterproof blasting substances and Nonel non-electric blasting systems are produced for the country and abroad.
Thracians hotels Ltd. is a company for tourist services and the following recreation facilities serve as a basis for its development:

Assarel-Trans Ltd. is a company for transportation services established on the basis of the Avtobasa Workshop as 66% of its shares were sold to the strategic partner Nikan Line.
Assarel-Remont Ltd. is a company established on the basis of the maintenance and repairs workshops as 60% of its shares were bought by the strategic partner IPO Ltd.
Assarel – Food and Catering Complex is a 100% affiliated company established on the basis of the organized canteen cervices for the company’s employees and workers.
