We Inaugurated a Bust Monument of Lachezar Tsotsorkov on the Anniversary of Asarel-Medet

A bust monument of Prof. Lachezar Tsotsorkov, PhD was inaugurated on December 29 when 56 years from the official commissioning of Medet Mining and Processing Complex are celebrated. The bronze figure was elaborated by the great Bulgarian sculptor Vezhdi Rashidov and it is placed in front of the official entrance of  Asarel-Medet JSC.

“On today’s day, we commemorate the labor and deeds of the thousands of people who contributed to the development of  Asarel-Medet in the past 56 years. It was not accidental that we chose today’s date to inaugurate the bust monument of my father,  Prof. Lachezar Tsotsorkov, PhD. Thus, we once again pay a tribute to this inspirational leader who headed Asarel-Medet for more than 30, who  led the team across the stormy sea of the transition, set the foundation of the company modernization and corporate culture building which will guide us towards sustainable development for years  ahead“. This is what the Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of Asarel-Medet JSC, Dimitar Tsotsorkov, stated to the people attending the ceremony and then he inaugurated the bust monument together with the Executive Director of the  company, eng. Delcho Nikolov.

“You know that Mr. Tsotsorkov liked to say: that  Asarel is predestined to success. I believe that Asarel will continue being predestined to success in the future as well because of the people who work at the company. I thank to all our team for their well done work in this extraordinarily   hard and challenging year“, eng. Delcho Nikolov said after the inauguration.

The first wreaths in front of the monument were placed on behalf of Asarel-Medet JSC, Lachezar Tsotsorkov Foundation and the trade union organizations at the company. Then, the managers, trade union members and family who attended the ceremony left flowers as a token of gratitude to the personality of the  unforgettable Prof. Lachezar Tsotsorkov, PhD.
