Assarel-Medet JSC Won a Social Responsibility Award

The Chairperson of the Supervisory Board Dimitar Tsotsorkov received an award for corporate social responsibility which was founded for the first time this year at the Mister and Mrs. Economics competition organized by the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria and Ikonomika Magazine.

At the rewarding, Mr. Tsotsorkov pointed out that this is an award for the entire team and that the company has adopted social responsibility as its own cause.  “The dual education program and the support for endowed children from Panagyurishte are only part of the social projects which we are proud of”, he also underlined. The Chairperson of the Supervisory Board thanked for the nomination and the distinction which is founded for the first time within the competition. 

Alexander Dimitrov, Chairperson of the Management Board and General CEO of A1 was awarded as Mr. Economics and the equivalent prize for the ladies was given to Petya Dimitrova, General CEO of Post Bank. Aurubis Bulgaria were among the distinguished companies in the Industry category and Siemens Bulgaria in Information Technologies category.
