Dimitar Tsotsorkov was elected Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of Assarel-Medet JSC

Eng. Delcho Nikolov became Chairperson of the Management Board and he also preserved his position of Executive Director 

Dimitar  Tsotsorkov was elected Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of Assarel-Medet JSC at a meeting held on November  20. He used to be Chairperson of the Management Board of the company since 2014 when the two-tier management system was implemented.  He has been part of the company’s team since 2001 as he consecutively worked as sales and hedging expert, head of department and Corporate Development Director. Currently,  Dimitar  Tsotsorkov is also Executive Director of the subsidiary  Assarel Investment Sole Proprietor JSC.

At its meeting, the Supervisory Board made a decision to add more members to the Management Board of the company. Eng. Delcho Nikolov was elected  Chairperson of the latter and he also preserved his position of Executive Director of  Assarel-Medet JSC.

In his capacity of Chairperson of the Supervisory Board, Dimitar  Tsotsorkov underlined that the projects for long-term development remain a major priority. This means modern and efficient operations performed while all regulative environmental protection, occupational health and safety and human resources development requirements and standards are observed.   “There will be continuity, preservation and development of the good traditions and development vision traced by my father Prof. Lachezar  Tsotsorkov, PhD. We consider good social cooperation and people’s motivation the most crucial factor for the excellent results achieved so far and for our future success “, he stated.

“The trust of the shareholders that we received obliges all of us, the team and the management, to mobilize our capacities in order to accomplish the scheduled tasks by the end of the year and achieve our long-term strategic objectives“, the Executive  Director and Chairperson of the Management Board eng. Delcho Nikolov expressed on his part. “For our common satisfaction, the actual achievement of the production technological and financial economic results is very good. The analysis for the first ten months of  2017 serve as a ground for us to forecast that this will be one of the most successful years in the company’s history”, he summarized.
