The Financial Director of Assarel-Medet JSC Nikola Anev was awareded with a prestigious price

The Financial and Economic Activity Director at Assarel-Medet JSC Nikola Anev was awarded in the prestigious competition Financial Director of the Year `2018. He became winner in one of the four competition categories and  was bestowed with Planning and Budgeting prize.

The CFO of the Year 2018 competition was organized for the fifth year in a row by Earnst and Young - Bulgaria consulting company with the Forbes magazine media support.  It was created with the purpose of distinguishing the exceptional financial leaders of Bulgaria who give their contribution for strengthening the best professional practices in the area of corporate finance. The official ceremony on announcing the nominations and winners for this year   took place in the Central Military club in Sofia on June 13 and the organizers stated that this is the year of the strongest competition so far. 

“I thank to the management of Assarel-Medet JSC for my nomination and my colleagues from the Financial and Economic Activities Directorate with whom we jointly overcome the professional challenges which we face every day,” Nikola Anev said when he was announced as a winner in the Planning and Budgeting category.  He underlined that this is an award for the entire team of Assarel-Medet JSC and  that the company is a paragon not only with  its production and financial economic results but also with their corporate social responsibility.

Financial directors from various business sectors such as industry, services, commerce and banks participated in the competition in 2018.  The applications were considered by an independent selection committee, representatives of the academic circles and various financial entities. Directors of Siemens, Monbat, First Investment Bank and   VP Brands International were honored in the other three categories of the competition: Management of Financial Function, Control and Accountancy, Risk and Liquidity.  The financial director of А1 was distinguished with the big award based on complex indices.
